You are eligible to purchase a resale HDB but have to dispose off your overseas property within 6 months from resale completion date.

If you use to hold on to the overseas property, kindly appeal first before committing to a purchase.

You can do so by emailing HDB your situation with supporting documents.

As you already understand, you will need to dispose off all interest in residential properties (local or overseas) within 6 months upon the purchase of a HDB flat.

In my opinion, you should appeal to HDB before proceeding to purchase a HDB resale flat.
