Hi all,
Urgently need some experts help here. I'm a single below 35 yo and buying 2 rooms resale HDB (with parent name as occupiers).
I've already obtained HFE and also signed OTP , Option fee $1K paid.
Currently in process of bank loan, and happen to realize the bank do not loan for HDB 2 rooms.
Alternative option still checking with HDB on whether they able to loan HDB loan but rate is quite higher @ 2.5%
Question here: Anyone here (2 rooms HDB resale buyer/Agent/broker) ever come across such case before.
Is there anyway to be able to get loan for HDB resale 2 rooms e.g show funds etc?
If both bank and HDB not able to loan, then how people are transacting resale 2 rooms HDB in the market?
If I'm not able to obtain loan from both bank and HDB then have a risk for forfeit the OTP already.
Appreciate someone could able to advise urgently.
Is there any special case like bank allowed for particular case e.g show fund etc. will i able to get loan for 2 rooms resale HDB?
Currently with my budget , can only go for 2 rooms resale HDB..

The only option is likely HDB. You may wish to call up HDB to expedite this as typically you need to have your HDB loan settled before you exercise the Option To Purchase. I have transacted 2 units of 2 room flats before on behalf of seller where 1 was paying off in full cash while the other took up a HDB loan with the help of an agent.
