Hi all, I'm a singapore citizen who is currently residing and working in overseas. I'm planning to buy a resale HDB flat for rent out. However, I have a couple of enquires right now.... which includes the following:
1. May I know can I rent out the entire flat without fulfilling the 5-years MOP requirement (i.e. renting out immediately after purchase)?
2. For renting out only the bedrooms, do i have to fulfill the 5-years MOP or I can rent out immediately? And Is it compulsory for me to stay in one of the bedroom in order to rent out the other bedrooms? Also, do I have to appoint an attorney for managing my flat?
3. Can i apply for exempting the requirements on renting out the entire HDB flat or
just bedrooms based on special cases (i.e The owner is currently residing in
overseas), and how high would be the success rate?
