Hi all, I recently purchased a property with existing tenancy. The Tenancy Agreement does not state whether the agreement may be terminated prematurely (except for the Diplomatic Clause), nor does it state the penalties imposed in case of early termination.

Does this mean I can terminate this Tenancy Agreement without incurring any penalties? Thanks.

Hi movin,

if it is sold with tenancy, they would have stated so in the option to purchase as well as the sales and purchase agreement as additional clauses.

Standard options and S&Ps deliver the property with vacant possession.

That is where you may want to look as well.
Cheers,
