Hi Mr Singh. It is true, the 58k minimum sum is what the government wanted citizens to set aside for their retirement purpose. It typically means u must have 58k derived from your OA PLUS SA account. Nontheless, if u have sufficient in ur SA account,it will not matter much as you can utilise your funds purely in ur OA account for ur private property purchase.
This ruling is applicable to all age group.
