Hi,

If you are married and have held SPR status each for 3 years, yes you will be eligible to purchase resale HDB. Do note you can only take bank loan and there is ABSD 5% on purchase price due to SPR status. Typically agent success fee is 1% of purchase transacted price + GST. If you are married and held Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) status for at least three years each, you are eligible to buy a resale HDB flat. However, please be noted that if you intend to take loan, you only have option to take bank loan and there is a 5% Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD) on the purchase price as a result of your SPR status.

How much funds (cash and/ or CPF) do you guys intend to use for this purchase? Do take note that additional buyer's stamp duty (ABSD) of 5% will be applicable for SPR's first residential property purchase in Singapore.
