Hi all
Currently I am renting a room to live on my own.
I am thinking of :
1) get a soon-to-TOP studio/1 bedroom condo to live (prefer area like sgn, kovan, sengkang, punggol) or
2) book a studio/1 bedroom condo but TOP 2 years later (but I have to pay the monthly instalments during this period also ?) or
3) wait till 35 ( 2 & a half yrs later) to buy a HDB flat.
For option 2 & 3, during this period, i would still need to continue renting a room.

By the way, a new condo is definitely cheaper than resales condo ?

Budget <$420K.
FYI. I am still doing research so appreciate any advice.

Dear Ms Tan;

Regarding your queries,yes,it will definately be cheaper if you get brand new unit direct from developer compared to resale units..I have a brand new condo just launch near Kovan MRT called Kovan Grandeur,1 bedroom unit price from $428,000 onwards(only left 6 units,all direct from developer's sales team)..TOP 2012..total 74 units only..early bird discount for limited time only..

During this 2 years(until it TOP),yes you will have to pay monthly installment to serve the bank loan..but the initial monthly repayment is very little(around $200-$300)..
