Hi Agents,
Me (SC) and my fiance (Malaysian and will get PR soon after June 2020) are planning to get a resale flat in Seng Kang in Jun 2021, however i read on HDB website that we are suppose to submit some income documents for Housing grant (Family grant & EHG).
In HDB website, it says that we need 12 months payslips and 15 months CPF contribution history to be eligible for both grants.
In addition, i am unemployed from Feb-Jun 2020 and i will only start a new job in 02 June 2020, in this case i am unable to provide full 12 months payslip but only able to provide payslips from 02-30June 2020, Jul 2020-Jun 2021. Additionally, i will not be able to provide 15 months CPF contribution history.. will it affect my application for Resale?
Also, if take eg that my fiance were to get PR only end of Dec 2020, he will also not be able to provide 15 months CPF contribution. Please assist if you have encountered this before?
Thanks.

Hi
HDB requirement for EHG grant is one of the applicant needs to be continuously employed for 12 months while there is no such requirement for family grant. Since you foresee that you will be able to provide payslip from July 2020 to June 2021, you will meet that requirement (12 months) and your fiance payslip will only determine the loan quantum you will be getting not the grant. (Only one need to be continuously employed for 12 months). Do not worry about the 15 months CPF contribution history as HDB only requires the document for record purposes and does not require continuous contribution of CPF for the whole 15 months.
