Hi agents,

I am abit confused on this income ceiling of $8000 for buying a HDB flat.

If my husband and I are earning more than $8000/month, are you allow to buy HDB flat? Some people are telling me NO as we have exceed the income ceiling.

I am thinking I can buy a HDB but just that I am not able to get HDB loan.

Can someone advise me on this?

Hi Elynn,
Yes you are still eligible to buy a resale hdb as there are no income capped. However you will not be entitled to any grant. If your income is about 10-12K, you can apply for a DBSS/EC. Hope this helps.
