Hi Mr Chui, yes you have to declare to HDB of your overseas property. And you could choose to sell your overseas property either before or after purchasing the HDB unit.

Afternoon,

If your unit have being purchased for the purpose of your elderly,
you can write in and appeal your case. Else, your private property must be sold within 6 months from key collection on your HDB unit.
