Hello. My husband currently co-owns a 4 room flat with his parents, which was purchased about 2 years ago before we got married. Recently, we decided that we would like to live independently without his parents. The plan is to take over this flat (me and husband) since he’s been contributing to the monthly payment of the house.
1- Is it possible to add in my name to this house and remove this parent’s?
2- Once his parent’s name have been removed, is it possible for them to purchase a 2 room flat / maybe rent a flat, etc?
As this house is still new (less than 5 years), I doubt it’s possible to sell off this flat & purchase another with my spouse, while his parents downgrade to a smaller flat for the both of them.
