Hello, I'm interested in getting a HDB flat in the Cantoment Road area, but all of the listings I've seen state that "Chinese ratio filled/Chinese not eligible". I'm Chinese, but my wife is Thai. Are we still eligible to buy those flats? She's a PR. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Jeff,

I have a case similar to your current situation. What I did for my buyers was, wrote in to HDB and get approval to buy under " Indian & Other Races" since one of the listed owner is consider other races. The approval was granted eventually.

I believe you can also appeal and explain to HDB your situation.
