Hello! I'm buying a resale flat using HDB Loan, CPF and cash. Does anyone know where along the entire process do I hand over this upfront cash to HDB? Do they accept cheque, bank transfer or do I have to bring a suitcase full of bills haha...

Hi sir

For any amount shortfall (after deducting loans, grants and CPF savings), it have to be settled at the point of completion. For large amount involved, HDB will require you to purchase a cashier order from the bank for the purpose of making the payment. I do provide free and non obligatory consultation in regards to property transactions in Singapore. Do contact me at 93375051  for a free and non obligatory discussions on this.

Hi;

All the cash portion( minus loan & CPF) will be payable upon completion. If you are using private lawyer, you will need to prepare Cashier Order and pass to your lawyer about 1 week before completion date. If you are using HDB lawyer, then you prepare the Cashier's Order and bring along on Completion day.. ( no cheque/cash ) Hope this helps..
