Hello,

I just sold my house and i need to know the details of the split of the 2% i need to pay to the agent.

First question is this negotaible or legally fixed as 2% ?

Second question e.g if i have paid for 400K will the 2% be calculates as 8000 + GST OR will the 8000 inclusive of GST?

Please advise.

Hi,

Commission is negotiable. 2% is a guideline.
If your agent has provided you with good service and sell at your target price, it is certainly worth to give a 2% commision.

Hi Anil,

To add on to Joseph, the 8000 will not be inclusive of GST.
