Hello, I am the owner of a Yew Tee HDB flat with my parents listed as occupiers. Can my parents separately buy another HDB unit financed by me? They are classified as a second-time buyer as they previously owned another HDB flat that was sold more than 10 years ago. They would like to buy a large unit at Central area, Bukit Merah, Bukit Timah, Queenstown or Marine Parade.

Evening,

If you are paying for the unit by cash and not getting a mortgage loan, it would be alright to purchase the unit under your parent's name. However, if you intend to get a mortgage loan under your name then it would not be possible.
