Hello gurus, Hope you’re doing well. We are considering to move in new HDB (upgrade from current 4 rooms). MOP is going to complete in Dec 2020. Few targetted questions where we need your advice. 1. Would buying a HDB in Central/ Harbourfront ahead make more sense compared to other locations like Punggol. Would you share an insight article or your suggestion on location standpoint. Keeping in view we’ve lost about 10% of property value in our current HDB. 2. Which HDB housing area would have significant improvement over past 5 years vs downfall 3. MOP in Dec can we list our current HDB in September. Understand OTP can only be signed after MOP date Thanks PC

You already lost 10% of your flat value, why do you want to do it again? I can help you, share more and explain what are the best options available for you.

Are you asking about the capital value or just improvements in amenities?

HDB value appreciation is generally stabilizing across the island.

HDB always and continuously improve the amenities and facilities during the flat lifecycle.

HDB flat is for just for you to stay, not an investment.

3. MOP in Dec can we list our current HDB in September. Understand OTP can only be signed after MOP date

Ans:
By right, you are not allowed to market your flat before MOP completion date.

You need to submit to HDB website "intent to sell"
