Hi Alvin,

Standard commission for selling HDB is 2% of selling price. The agent's work involve marketing the unit, arranging viewings, price negotiation, handling the paperwork, etc. So 2% is a deserved compensation for responsible agent.

If you are serious in selling, I suggest you do a formal hdb valuation. I can assist you on this.

Evening Alvin,

All salesperson will tell you that for selling of property, the standard commission is 2%. However, very few salesperson will tell you that it's not a hard and fast rule. The commission payable is to be negotiated between the client and the salesperson.
