My HDB buyers most of them have the intention to sell after 5-10 yrs and they are able to afford the 20% downpayment. As such, the answer for them is DBS 8 or 10yrs loan as it is cheaper than HDB loan. For them, they do not expect themselves to have any financial issues in the future that may affect their shelter.
