Guru's, I need suggestion for buying a House, i am on EP in singapore past 3 years. HDB is ruled out for me. I have only option to go for condo's or Landed. I am paying lots of money towards rent.. want to make use of it properly.

Afternoon,

Before you purchase a private property, you need to work your sums right. you need to prepare the following in cash: Option & Exercise Fee = 5% of Purchase Price and 15% of balance, if you get a 80% loan, Stamp Fee + Legal Fee. You also need to be aware of how much the bank can loan you and how much you will be paying for the monthly installment.
