Got stuck with a loan application that went wrong .

Got prior greenlight from bankers for a property that I was looking.

Signed OTP and paid the 5%.

While submitting all the documents to banks, I was told I could not get the intended loan amount because I only started working in this new company for 7 months! Totally caught by surprise because this question was never asked previously.

I am stuck, big time.

What are the consequences if the deal could not get through within the completion date?

Help needed!!

Hi,

May I know which project unit did you book? Surely there's an agent liaising with you and had explained the procedures to you? If its a Building under construction project, based on the limited info shared, its likely you have to forfeit 25% of the booking fee. Thanks and hope it clarifies.

Warm Regards,

Afternoon,

I'm sure that your agent who have being serving you would have being aware of the procedures and possible pitfall before getting the Option for you. It would be good to consult you agent as he would be more aware of the situation than us.

Dear buyer,

I am unsure which bank have you look to for the loan of your purchase. Out of interest, I actually checked with a banker from DBS by copying this link to the banker for his understanding and he told me that for DBS bank, they usually need to see the letter of employment and 1 month payslip if your employment is under 1 year with the company. Would you like to speak to this banker?

Hi buyer,

By right your agent should have warned you of all the possible pitfalls before committing to any purchase.

Perhaps you can contact me and I get my trusted bankers to assist you?
