Afternoon Andrew,

With the current ruling, banks will only grant with 80% valuation or lesser, depending on your status.

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

    So if i were to purchase a re-sale HDB flat and apply bank loan, i need to pay 10% cash and the other 10% from CPF ordinary if i can get 80% valuation approval.

Hi Andrew,

Bank can only loan u up to a max of 80% for HDB only. For private, it will be different.
