Even with bumper supply of 8,000 BTO + SOBF, there are still some 26,000 applicants, equivalent to HDB promised one year new HDB supply...wondering if HDB will be out of bullet (land, labour, schedule etc)? What happen next year if by end this year there is still some 30k applicants for 5k new HDB supply??

Morning Jordan,

All people will try to apply for new units, as they are buying 'low' and hope to be able to sell high in time to come, if they are eligible for it.
Hence HDB are giving the priority to those who really need it. In almost every BTO, WIS, SOBF, it's over-subscribed. The number of new applicant will grow, as the population aged and reach 'marriage' zone.
If supply is ever sufficient, where supply meets demand, do you think prices will still be sky high?

That's my personal opinion though.
