Have you and your spouse fulfill 3 years of SPR status respectively?
If you can obtain a 80% loan, your initial outlay will be as such:
1) 5% cash downpayment
2) 15% CPF downpayment
3) estimated 3% buyer's stamp duty
4) 5% additional buyer's stamp duty as SPR
5) $3k legal fees
6) valuation fee, stamp duty for mortgage etc
7) agent's commission (1% of purchase price)
You should be able to afford a property that is worth $345k. May I know where are the locations you are looking at?
