Does a SPR must list all its family members (I.e. spouse and all children) as occupier? Or can a SPR just list spouse as occupier? Asking this because while my spouse and I will have been SPR for 3 years shortly, our child is 2 years and we are expecting a newborn. If all children must be listed, then does it mean that we will not be able to buy resale HDB Flat for next 3 years at least?

Hi,

1) Only the applicants need to adhere to the 3 years SPR status.
2) In your case, you and your wife shall be the applicants, and you can be the only owner. Your wife is an essential occupier.
3) Thus you don't have to worry about your kids not meeting the 3 years SPR status.
4) You may proceed to purchase with your wife under Public Scheme, with your wife as an essential occupier only.
