For purchasing a HDB flat, you do not need an agent as you will be buying directly from HDB. However, it is good if you can talk to your agent, if any, for some advice. If you buy the right flat, you stand to gain a lot in the years to come.

1) You don't need an agent to buy a BTO flat.
2) If you are not tech-savvy, you may ask your juniors to assist in your application.
3) Alternatively, you may approach your HDB branch office for assistance.
4) You will have to apply for an HFE (HDB Flat Eligibility) before able to apply for balloting.
