Hi,

1) The info provided is incomplete thus not really understand what you are trying to ask.
2) My guess is you are asking whether you can change from being an owner of the current HDB flat and change to an occupier so that you could buy an EC with a child over 21 years old.
3) First of all, the HDB had already imposed a policy that a married couple cannot change their owner status to an occupier status for the current flat.
4) Secondly, as a married couple when you wish to buy a new launch EC you have to apply together.
5) If you are buying a resale EC, when you buy with your child, you will be subject to a 17% ABSD assuming you are an owner of the current flat.
6) If you are currently occupying the private residential property, then you may do a decoupling and buy a resale EC with your child.
