The issue most owners face when carrying out DIY sale is being overwhelmed by salespersons inquiry on top of being flooded out of the advertisements as it is likely that more than 90% of advertisements are from the salespersons. This means that as a professional salesperson, it is likely that we have wider network and reach out to prospective buyers than a DIY seller, unless the DIY seller is willing to spend money on advertisements and creating big catchy ads to attract prospective buyers to call in for viewings arrangements. That aside, if you are not well versed in the sales process or do not have a flair for sales, it is also a challenge to get the buyer offer at a desirable price, which could mean that all could break-even or you may even benefit from engaging the services of a salesperson after all.
