Dear Property Guru,

I have a private property that is serviced through CPF. I recently lost my SPR status but CPF has advised me I don't need to close my account.

However if I choose to renounce my SPR and withdraw CPF
Do I need to sell my property to return back the CPF withdrawals and interest accrued?

Thank you

Hi,

If you wish to fully withdraw all the cpf monies, its advisable to sell the property as well. Its best to check with CPF board on their stance.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Good evening Ms,

You dont have to do so. But what's your intention?

If you dont wish to rent it out, perhaps by selling it off can rest your mind and do other stuffs.

Hope to hear from you more so I will be in a better position to advise you further.
