Dear Property Expert

I am currently own an HDB flat together with my brother which we purchased back in 2008.
We are planning to decouple the unit and I will bought over his part of share which will make me the sole owner of the HDB flat. My question is, when the transaction is completed, will the MOP period be reset back to 5 years (we have completed the MoP long ago). Which means I have to wait another 5 years before I can actually sell the unit and buy another one.

Hi, appreciate your sharing. You can login into HDB portal to check using singpass or make appointment at HDB branch office to check for the MOP date

From my previous experience where such decoupling took place, there was no need to reset the MOP. Read More
