Dear HDB Guru, i am a owner of a EM flat, which already fully paid but this is the first HDB property i ever own, however my husband is a second time owner, please advice, can my son combine with me to apply another flat directly from HDB. Serina See

Evening Serina,

By second time owner, do you mean that he have purchased new flat twice? If so, your chance of getting a new flat is quite slim, as HDB perceive your husband and you as one, even though you will be using your son as the joint owner, because your husband is required as the essential occupier.
There are pro and con for parents to apply HDB with their children. First of all, it will reduce your son's chance of applying a new HDB, when he's married.
