Dear Gurus, Need your expertise I am a Singapore PR already holding a HDB Flat bought with my parents who are Singapore Citizens. We have completed MOP for the HDB flat. I wanted to move out as i got married. I know that i need to pay my parents the CPF amount used. Since the flat will be transferred to my parents name solely, do they still need to server MOP again after the transfer procedure ? Will this procedure will be considered as sale of flat ? How much will be the cost incurred for this procedure ? Pls advise

Afternoon, Since you are moving out of the current unit, you can do a transfer of ownership to your parents. If you have not contributed financially to the unit, your parents will not be required to obtain loan to facilitate the transfer. As for the cost incurred, it would depends on whether any loan is required. FYI Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More
