Dear Gurus,
I'm currently owning a 4rm HDB flat with my mum (divorced), contributing using my cpf.

i intend to buy a new property with my fiancee, so should i remove my name from my existing flat? if yes, when?

Afternoon Joe,

IF you intend to get another unit of your own, you need to remove your name from the existing unit. Do note that you mum would most likely be required to return you the CPF which you have contributed, inclusive of interest.

You are able to remove your name from the flat, but your mum is require to return your amount that you have contribute via CPF.
