Dear Gurus, if Mr.A + Mr.B joint to buy a property, Mr.A 1st property, Mr.B 2nd property, ABSD how count?

Morning,

That would depend on the citizen status for Mr. B. If Mr. B and Mr. A are SC, ABSD is not required. If Mr. B is PR but Mr. A is SC, 3% ABSD is applicable. If Mr. A if foreigner, then 10% ABSD is applicable.

Hi Ares,

General rule is, whichever is higher applicable for the ABSD.
