Dear Gurus, I understand that the HLE is valid for 6 months. I am 35+ years old single looking to buy 5 room resale flat and have receive the HLE Letter 1 month ago. I will be leaving my current job in 1 week to do some thing, so consider I will be jobless for the next few months. Roughly my eligible loan amount will be 300K base on my current income. I have enough cash+CPF for the balance of the cost of 5-room resale flat. So my question is say in the next few months (within the validity of the HLE), if I want to purchase a resale flat, will HDB approve my purchase and give me the loan of 300K? (since I will be jobless with no income) Btw, my HLE letter is for 5 room resale, do I need to reply the HLE if I intend to go for 4 room resale? Thanks Gurus. Rgds, Mr Lim
