Dear Guru,

I am 50-y-o, S'porean and just divorced. My ex-wife and children will be taking over our current flat.
Q: how long should I wait before I can buy a resale HDB flat for own stay as a single owner, any rules?

Once transfer of ownership is done, you can proceed to buy a resale hdb for your own stay.

Afternoon,

Once you have transferred the ownership to your ex-spouse, you will be immediately eligible to purchase resale unit.
