Dear all, my wife and I are both working and we intend to purchase a condo under our names. After a few years, my wife will stop working and be taking care of our children. On top of my normal job, I have an undeclared second income hence there shouldn't be any issue for me to pay the monthly instalment. But we wonder if there will be any issue with the bank loan such as refinancing matter in future. Thank you.

Dear buyer,

The same set of assessment will be used for bank loan and refinancing, therefore any changes to employment status and income will affect the loan eligibility. For the undeclared income, they will not be considered for your loan eligibility.

You should check with a banker proper to ease your concerns as we can only base on what we are aware to estimate but to give a proper advise financially, they should be coming from the professional.

Hi,

When there is a fresh round of refinancing is done, the prevailing assessment policies and criterion will be utilized by the banks, usually your age, income and credit profile details then. Any undeclared income will not be factored in.
