Dear all, I am a Singaporean, my husband is a foreigner who is not PR or work in Singapore. He do not have the long term social visit pass. Recently, we had baby (dual nationality). Do we form a family to buy Flat from HDB? Are we eligible to apply sale of balance flats scheme? If I am not working, can I still apply for the HDB loan? Thank you

Morning,

Being married, you are only eligible to purchase resale unit with your spouse under non-citizen spouse scheme, if he holds a logn term visitor pass or employment document. To apply HDB resale unit with your child, you must have the custody of you child which means that you have gone through a divorce. With your current case, you fit neither situations. Furthermore, without official income statement, no financial institute will grant you any loan for the purchase.
