Currently I am staying in private property.
I intended to sell away my private property, and look for a 5 room HDB flat.
In the same, time we will be looking at a private property which is much bigger, but will only be completed 3years.
I will be paying in full the 5room flat purchase with CPF/cash with no loan. Myself and my wife will have the minimum CPF sum of 74k.I would like to find out if there is any complication after getting our HDB, will we be able to purchase a private property if we wanted to - immediately or need to wait a period?
We should still be staying in our HDB, for a number of years, since my older boy will be Primary 1 next year, and then another two years later my second boy will joined him in the same school.
To summarise - Sell away condo
Buy a 5 room resales flat fully paid with CPF and cash?
Able to buy a private property immediately as investment purpose or is there a wait period?

Hi Mark, there will be no issue in buying a 5 room resale flat with the proceed of your condo. However, you will have to meet 5 years Minimum Occupation Period before investing in another private property.
