Hi,

1) No one can control life events, not even the authority. Thus, it is unreasonable for the HDB to chase you out of your flat for this reason.
2) But, we still have to inform the authority and get their consent as a proper process.
3) You just go through the motion and ask the HDB via the feedback channel: https://services2.hdb.gov.sg/webapp/BF12AWFeedback/BF12SFrontController?service=ServiceFeedback&operation=createFeedback
