Dear sir/mdm,

No, you are unable to do so. If you require a more immediate roof over head, it is advisable to consider the resale option, and upon meeting the 5 years Minimum Occupation Period, you can then apply for a BTO unit. Do take note that if you are taking any housing grant for your resale unit, resale levy will be applicable for your BTO purchase if it is successful.

Good morning Sir/ Mdm,

Sorry to inform you that it's not possible. You have to fulfil BTO's MOP first before you can purchase a resale flat.

If you decide to give up on your BTO to buy a resale flat, you wont be eligible for housing grants for at least a year due to the BTO cancellation.

Unfortunately its not possible, as you need to give up your BTO application if you choose to purchase resale HDB, it is part of the HDB resale buying eligibility condition.

Hi,

1) If you still want to own the BTO flat then you are not allowed to buy a resale HDB flat.
2) The lease agreement that you signed would have stated this under the terms and conditions.
3) If you only choose the BTO and paid the deposit, you may still back out and buy a resale HDB flat instead. But you will not be entitled to reserve the BTO.
