Afternoon Amit,

You are eligible to purchase both type of properties, be it resale HDB or resale EC but..

if you purchase a resale HDB flat, you have to dispose off your current private property on hand within 6 months from completion date.

While this regulation wont not be applicable in the case of purchase of resale EC.

Thus if you choose to purchase a resale EC, you are still able to hold on your private property.

But you must be mindful of the additional buyer's stamp duty of 3% that will be applicable for SPR who purchase their second property in Singapore.

Hope it helps! And will gladly assist you with your property purchase.

Warmest Regards,
YT TAN
