Hi Ms Choong, I'm sorry that you can't buy a resale hdb as a single PR. You could only purchase it together with your spouse or fiancé and both of you has to be PR of at least 3 years. But if your spouse or fiancé is a local citizen, then the purchase can be immediate.

Good morning Hooi Fun,

Sorry you can't do so as a single SPR but you are eligible if you purchase it with a SPR (both must fulfill status of 3 years respectively) or a SC. You can also do so if you obtain citizenship and you are at least 35 years old by then.

If not, private property might be your option for now.
