Evening,

If you are looking at getting jumbo unit under single scheme, you can only obtain mortgage loan from bank and will not be eligible for housing grant. As for the income required to obtain the loan, it will be dependent on your TDSR and MSR.

Hi,

Yes single scheme can purchase jumbo unit but you can only take bank loan and there will be no grants. The income required for the 80% loan depends on your MSR and TDSR requirements.

Under the under loan framework, to be eligible for a 640k loan based on a purchase price of 800k for a tenure of 25 years, you will need an income of about $10,600.

May I know your objectives of buying a jumbo flat? There are limited supply of jumbo flats in the market and you may be limiting yourself in terms of choice. You can consider Executive Apartment or Executive Maisonette as these options may command a higher rental yield.
