Yes, it is possible to do so as long as you have fulfilled the MOP. However, do take note that ABSD may apply for your 2nd property.

Hi, for your case it is possible. Just need to stay for a minimum period of 5 years in your current unit and you would be eligible to purchase another private unit.

As per your plans , yes you can keep your hdb and buy a condo too .

Please note there are lots of costs if you choose the rental income route , in short rental yield is very low .

Costs in sequence according to weightage . :

Most significant is Additional buyer stamp duty ABSD 7% of condo cost .
Bad paymaster tenant = non payment .
Vacant months = no rent to collect .
Maintainance fee of condo approx few hundred per month .
Income tax generated from rental income .
Property tax .
Wear and tear maintance .
Agent fee .
