Can one rent out his whole flat (MOP met) and rent another property? It is legal?

Hi Blur
As long as you fulfill the MOP, you may rent out your whole flat after obtaining approval from HDB.
You may rent another property from the open market after that.

Hi Blur,
Just a point to note.
You can rent another property, like private condo. Cannot rent HDB because if you are the owner of the unit which you rented out, HDB won't accept your application to rent a HDB. Hope this clarify.
