However with the measures in place, you are not allowed to "own" a HDB if you already own a Private.

Your mother can WILL the HDB to you BEFORE her death.

But after the inheritance from her AFTER her death, you will have to choose to sell off or transfer out either the HDB flat or the private property that you currently own.
