First of all, here wishing you and your family a very happy lunar new year. :)

Sorry to tell you that you cannot use your CPF from your OA account to help pay for the housing loan. If you wish to help, you can only help with contributing cash.

If you really wish to use your CPF, then you will need to be one of the owners and the loan will need to be under your name too. Just to mention that the ways to do it will be slightly different between HDB and private properties. So if you are unsure on the way to go about doing it, you can give me a call and I can explain it to you. No worries there are no obligations at all.

In order to use your CPF monies to pay for the housing loan, you will need to be the owner of the property.

You can purchase a minority share of the property to avoid hefty stamp duties. Do take note that SSD may applies thereafter.
