Hi,

Yes its possible, if you prefer to do so. The regulation only requires you to set aside 50% of the sale cash proceeds, if you prefer to use more, it is also possible.

Yes, of course. You will have to use at least 50% of the Cash sale proceeds if you're taking up a second concessionary loan. There is no rules to stop you from using more than 50% of the cash proceeds.

TO clear thing up, for 2nd HDB loan, a seller is generally allowed to keep the higher of $25k or 50% of the cash proceeds and the balance have to be used as downpayment for the next flat. (eg cash proceed $30k, $5k have to be used for next flat, cash proceed $70k, $35K have to be used for the next flat). If you wish to use 100% cash proceed as downpayment for the next flat, you may also do so. For bank loan, the requirement is much simpler as only 5% of the purhase price needs to be presented in cash as downpaymen.
