Hi,

Hdb transfer ownership rules have tightened and it may not be possible to do so. Its best to check with hdb branch for the eligibility before taking any further step.

If your objective is avoid ABSD, perhaps there are other workaround. May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Hi,

I doubt that you can transfer your HDB ownership to your parents, especially now you're still within your MOP period.

After your MOP, if ABSD is still in place and you want to avoid paying it, you can choose to "sell" your HDB flat to your parents, and then proceed to buy a private property under your own name.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
