There's no regulation stating that you must market your unit through a qualified salesperson.
The advantages of marketing your unit through a qualified salesperson is that you do not need to worry about the marketing, the legal procedures, answering multiple calls, from salespersons or prospect buyers, after you have placed your ads, and you can use those extra time for your personal things.

Hi owner,

You may do that on your own, which I understand that there is a recent transaction which owner managed to do it himself, but of course at a price lower than he had initially quoted based on my understanding.
